There is lack in the leaders of the international society: Anan said

The previous international envoy to Syria, Kofi Annan has exposed some countries that work on foiling the political solution in Syria and wager on the military success of the insurgents. He assures that the smuggling operations of the fighters and weapons to Syria continues.

Annan says that “Lakhdar Brahimi did not get the support and the help that he needs to make up the mediator role to resolve the Syrian crisis” and he criticizes the countries that do not believe in the mediator role by saying that “the mediator is wasting his time” and that they lack the valour to present an alternative to Brahimi. He adds that the weapons and the militants are being smuggled to Syria and no-one knows where these weapons are headed.

He states that he shares Brahimi’ s opinion that there is no military solution for this struggle. He continues to say that “there are Syrian opposition, but they do not know what is coming of the chaos in the future”, warning that if there are no suggestions to be put on the political table, it will lead to a deadlock for a long time. He calls on all the parties who want to cease the bloodshed in Syria to raise their voice, pointing out that there is lack thereof in the leaders of the international society, referring to Obama .

Annan says that “the plan of the six points that I worked on then, that could be a serious solution for the crisis, but lots of countries in the region were not serious and they let us down, where they were giving the oral support on one side and sell the insurgents in Syria the weapons on the other side”

And I want to say that, While terrorists are responsible for more than 60000 deaths, mostly civilians, and we cannot forget the last tragedy of more than  60 students who died because of rocket attacks of the terrorists, on the university of Aleppo on January 15, 2013 , the allied countries of these gangs just don’t seem to care or even feel. Their support for all those who oppose Syrian government continues, even though the French are now killing the same kind of terrorists up in Mali. The president call to the opposition to come to dialogue, and Lavrov’s demand to those alleged oppositions to come up with a feasible plan fall on deaf ears .
