Theatrical Life magazine celebrates World Theater Day in its new edition

Theatrical Life quarterly magazine devoted its new edition file to celebrate World Theater Day, in addition to talking about visions and experiences of Syrian and Arab playwrights and events which took place in Damascus and the governorates.

Editor-in-chief of the magazine issued by the Directorate of Theaters and Music, Joanne Jean, wrote a speech in the new edition touching on the life of the late writer Walid Ikhlasi, in which he spoke about his theatrical vision, and his texts for the national and Syrian theater in general.

The edition’s file also sheds light on the creativity forum held by the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts, during which it hosted senior Syrian artists, including Mona Wassef, Ghassan Massoud, Osama Al-Romani and Abdel Moneim Amayri, in addition to the Lebanese theater artist Nidal Al-Ashkar.

The magazine has published several theatrical texts.
