Occupation authorities announce a new plan to establish two thousand settlement units in the West Bank

On the other hand, the Israeli occupation authorities announced today a new settlement plan to establish two thousand settlement units in the occupied West Bank.

Ma’an News Agency reported that the new plan aims to expand settlements on Palestinian land in occupied al-Quds, Salfit and Ramallah.

In the context of its Judaizing and aggressive plans to displace the Palestinians, the occupation authorities escalated the settlement operations in the West Bank, especially in the occupied city of al-Quds (Jerusalem), ignoring international resolutions, especially Security Council Resolution 2334 of 2016, which confirms the illegality of settlement in the occupied Palestinian territories and demands an immediate halt.
