The Zenobia Association in Australia organizes an evening on Syrian Civilization and Traditions

On November 5th, the Syrian Zenobia Association for Women held an evening in Melbourne, Australia, to show the Syrian folk traditions and customs.The evening was called “A Night in Syria”.

The women of the association presented the Australian visitors with traditional Syrian food and sweets while the Syrian player Hussam Karam and the young singer Nour Jeries presented the most beautiful Syrian songs, national anthems, Al-Qudud Al-Halabi and Muwashahat.

The vice president of the Association pointed to the importance of introducing Syrian civilization, noting the wide participation in this evening, which shows interest and desire to learn about Syrian civilization and traditions.

The association presented a short video that sheds light on the Syrian civilization, its monuments, cities and history.

 It is noteworthy that the Zenobia Association for Women was founded in 2021, and includes a group of Syrian women living in Australia, in addition to two Australian women, and its goal is to introduce the Syrian civilization and its resources, and to help Syrian women in particular and Arab women in general to live, and integrate into the new Australian society through lectures, trips and activities.
