The West supports the rioters and those who violate the security of the Iranian people, says Kanaani

Tehran, (ST) – Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani affirmed that the Western countries’ approach towards Iran is characterized by hypocrisy and double standards. He added that the statements of Western countries’ officials regarding the recent riots in Iran prove its support for those violating Iranian security.

Today, Kanaani said on his Instagram account that the United States, some European countries and their misleading media and anti-Iranian and Western-backed media took advantage of a tragic incident which is being  investigated  under the pretext of supporting the rights of the Iranian people, and spared no effort to support the rioters and those who undermine the security of the people.

Kanani pointed out that Western countries have ignored and underestimated the presence of millions of Iranians in the streets and squares of the country in support of their government and their country and their strong opposition to chaos and riots.

Kanaani added that there is no doubt that the new war waged by the West against the Iranian people will record another failure in history.
