The US military presence in Syria is illegitimate: Slovak journalist

The American occupation of Syrian territories is a flagrant violation of the international law, stressed Slovak journalist Lukas Litsa.

In an article published by the Slovak Hlavny Dennik website, Litsa said that “the US military presence in Syria is without the approval of the legitimate Syrian government and without the Security Council’s mandate, thus, it is illegitimate and it constitutes an open aggression.”

He pointed out that resisting the US occupation in the areas it occupies is a legitimate matter and it is expected in the light of the current developments.
