The US, its European allies, Arab and regional tools responsible for crisis in Syria

The insistence of the US, its Western allies and regional tools to support the terrorist Takfiri groups fighting in Syria proves that the West has one objective behind this sinister plot against Syria, namely destroying Syria, weakening the Syrian army and undermining Syria’s resistant role in confrontation of the Zionist colonialist projects in the region. The United Sates and its Western and regional allies are fuelling the deadly turmoil in Syria in an attempt to weaken Syria’s strong army, destroy Syria’s infrastructure and create a new status quo in the region that guarantees the end of resistance to Israel and control the Middle east through inciting sectarian wars in the region that facilitate the implementation of colonialist projects.

The Western states led by Washington, are fully responsible for the ongoing bloodshed plaguing Syria because of the spread of the armed terrorist groups in various parts of the country. These groups have been sent inside Syria through the US, Saudi Arabia and other Arab and regional tools which facilitated the funding, training and exporting terrorists to commit atrocious crimes against Syrian people and destroy Syria’s industry agriculture and services sectors.

The Syrian crisis, created by the US, Israel and their allies, is an all-out assault on humanity which is being perpetrated by those very governments who pretend that they are defenders of humanity, peace, democracy and human rights, especially the US. The Western countries are not only killing people, but they are also destroying the infrastructure and the historical and archaeological sites in Syria that testify to Syria’s time-old civilization and the peaceful co-existence Syrian people have been enjoying since time immemorial.

The West has no intention of helping to resolve the Syrian crisis as the dilemma has been created by Western states to protect Israel and implement a Zionist agenda in the region. The West is pretending that it is exerting efforts to resolve the crisis in Syria peacefully. But at the same time it abstains from making the petro-dollar states stop their unlimited military and financial support for the terrorist takfiri groups in Syria. 

According to news reports and media leaks, the Western powers and their regional allies, especially Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey, have been supporting terrorists operating inside Syria by all military and financial means. Syria has sent scores of letters disclosing the suspicious role of certain Arab and regional states in hosting, training and funding the armed terrorist groups who are committing savage crimes against Syrian people and their public and private properties. 

Syria’s recurrent calls for the UN Security Council to prosecute Turkey for supporting terrorists operating against Syrian people are solid-based and comprehensible decision. The new call by the Syrian government for UN Security Council to take action against Turkey and other countries for their support of al-Qa’eda affiliated groups fighting in Syria was preceded by scores but the UN Security Council turned blind eye and deaf ear to these justifiable calls, because some permanent members of the UN Security Council, namely the US, Britain and France are the main supporters of these terrorist groups. Syria’s action will at least remind the world of the hypocrisy of Turkish leaders, who have been supporting violent intervention in Syria despite their claims of respecting other countries’ sovereignty. They have opened training centres funded by Saudi Arabia and Qatar to train terrorists coming from more than 83 states to be sent to Syria to commit atrocious massacres against Syrian people and destroy Syria’s infrastructure.

The US and the West are fully responsible for the crisis in Syria, because they have been vetoing any draft law that denounces the atrocious crimes being perpetrated by the armed terrorist groups against Syrian people. As was the case with other requests, the UN Security Council is unlikely to respond positively to Syria’s request to put pressure on the states sponsoring terrorism and exporting terrorist to Syria. For one thing, the US government will certainly veto any such measure given that the Obama administration itself has been supplying weapons and other aid to the armed groups in Syria and it is the US itself which ordered Saudi Arabia and other Gulf sheikhdoms to offer unlimited support to the armed terrorist groups operating in Syria.

The provision of aid to the terrorists is a blatant violation of the resolutions of the UN bodies, including the resolutions of the Security Council. The Turkish authorities are systematically offering help in supplying arms to terrorists operating in a number of Syrian districts. They support the groups which every day carry out atrocious massacres against the Syrian people, government buildings, and other infrastructure facilities. Since the very beginning of the crisis, hospitals, schools, Muslim and Christian shrines, diplomats and even children have been the main target of the terrorists who were trained on the border with Syria, after which the Turkish authorities helped them penetrate into Syria. From the very beginning the crisis in Syria, various media outlets have disclosed information about the involvement of Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s government’s in the terrorist acts being committed against Syrian people. In a new evidence on Turkey’s involvement in supporting the terrorists in Syria, the BBC revealed that foreign “jihadist fighters” are using safe houses in southern Turkey to cross into Syria to fight within the terrorist groups’ ranks. Many previous reports proved that the Turkish government has been shutting its eyes on the hundreds of foreign gunmen who cross the border into Syria to join al-Qaeda-linked terrorist groups.

The BBC report quoted a man running one of those houses used by the terrorists that is located near the border town of Reyhanli as saying that more than 150 people – including up to 20 Britons – had used it in the past three months. He added that “jihadists usually stay for a day or two before crossing into Syria and stay on the way back when they are waiting for flights back to their home countries.

The international legal framework which UN member states are working within is based on the principle of non-interference in any state’s internal affairs under any pretext, which was documented in several international resolution charters, on top of which the UN Charter. The outrageous crimes committed against the Syrian people by the armed terrorist groups, mostly linked to al-Qaeda were brought by the Saudi regime which is the main funder and supporter for terrorism hotbeds around the world. The Saudi regime with the help of other states and governments brought terrorists to Syria from 83 countries, most of which are Arab, Islamic and Western. What is ridiculous and ironic is that the Saudi regime, which represents the peak of human rights’ violation against its people, the Arabs and Moslems and the main exporter of the fundamentalist Takfiri terrorism to all the world starting from Afghanistan in the 80’s of last century to September 11th in New York, London, Paris, Madrid and other countries in Arab and African countries, proposes a draft resolution calling for maintaining the Syrian people’s rights. This paradox coincides with the Saudi regime’s persisting on interfering in Syria’s affairs with no accountability for igniting the crisis and hindering a peaceful and political solution by the Syrians.

The Saudi regime’s policy will lead to more breading of terrorism in the world and the eruption of terrorism inside Saudi Arabia itself, as well as the continuation of Syria’s human rights violations by the Takfiri armed terrorist groups it backs. The princes of Al- Saud have released those criminals; the majority of them are affiliated to extremist, terrorist organizations like al-Qaeda, to send them to Syria through hidden agreements through which they are given amnesty in return for their travelling to Syria to kill the Syrians. Those terrorists enter Syria through borders with Jordan, Lebanon while the others come through Turkey with facilitations by the Turkish, Qatari intelligence.

Apart from the unlimited financial and military support for the armed terrorist groups, Bander, the Saudi spy chief, who is in charge of training and funding terrorists to be sent to Syria, established operations rooms in Amman where he meets leaders of the armed terrorist groups operating in Syria in the presence of Israeli and Jordanian military experts to plan terrorist attacks against Syrian people and their public and private properties.  

All countries should shoulder their responsibilities, because not dealing seriously with the terrorism backed by Turkey, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, which is affecting Syria, will lead to a wider spread of terrorism in the world and an uncontrollable outburst in the region which will be difficult to control later. The terrorist acts that recently took place in Lebanon, Iraq and Russia are a direct result of the spread of the Wahhabi Takfiri terrorism which is being supported by Al-Saud. This terrorism will affect the regimes which fund it now, because those who play with fire will definitely be burned by it.

France has also been playing suspicious role against Syrian people in a desperate attempt to revive its past colonialist dreams. France’s hard-line stand towards Syria is based on France’s selling political positions in exchange for deals, and that this is the secret behind its relations with Saudi Arabia and Arab Gulf countries.  The French President Francois Hollande, whose popularity dropped to less than 20%, doesn’t read history; otherwise he would have realized that the French mandate on Syria is gone and will never return and that the Syrian people alone have the right to choose their leadership, government and political future.

Syria’s military might, which has always been a strong force capable of standing against Israel, is achieving remarkable progress in chasing terrorists and thugs in various parts of the country. Syrian people are confident that their army will emerge victorious in its battle against terrorism and will deter the Zionist projects in the region.
