New York (ST): The UN has decided to return to holding the meetings of the UN General Assembly committees and the forthcoming meetings of the UN Security Council through video conference because of the appearance of a new coronavirus infection in one of its missions.
The President of the UN General Assembly’s office was quoted by Russia Today website as saying that after the discovery of five corona cases in one of the UN permanent missions, the medical service department recommended to cancel all personal meetings at the UN headquarters.
