The UN holds the American occupation responsible for the murder of dozens of civilians in Deir Ezzour

New York (ST): The United Nations held the US occupation forces responsible for the death of dozens of civilians in Deir Ezzour near the village of al-Baghouz in Deir Ezzour countryside in 2019.

In response to what was published by the New York Times about the US air strikes in Syria killing dozens of civilians, the Deputy Spokesman for the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Farhan Haq, stressed to RIA Novosti news agency that “the United States should bear responsibility for actions that lead to the deaths of civilians.”

The New York Times revealed in a report yesterday that the US occupation army deliberately concealed a crime it committed against civilians in Syria in 2019, which caused the death of 64  women and children, explaining that two successive air strikes were carried out by the US Air Force near the village of Al-Baghouz in Deir Ezzour countryside by order of an American special operations unit Secret Service, noting that it was a “possible war crime.”

Since its formation  outside the Security Council in August 2014, the so-called “international coalition” led by the United States has committed dozens of massacres against Syrians by bombing residential areas in the countryside of Aleppo, Deir Ezzour, Raqqa and Hasakeh, in addition to destroying infrastructure under the pretext of fighting the terrorist organization “ISIS”.

The data and facts confirm the close connection between the coalition and the organization that aims  to target the Syrian Arab Army and residential communities in the eastern region.
