The Ukrainian National Academy of Sciences honours a Syrian professor.

Syrian Professor Ali Al – Amouri received a certificate of honor from the Ukrainian National Academy of Sciences in recognition of his dedicated work with Ukrainian youth in the field of information technology and security, and programming.

 

In a statement to SANA, Dr. Al-Amouri explained that he has been serving for years as a member of the Youth Work Arbitration Committee of the Informatics Section of the Programming Techniques Department of the Youth Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. In recognition of his efforts in this area, the Ukrainian National Academy of Sciences and the Youth Academy, under the supervision of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, recently awarded him a certificate of Appreciation and Honor.

The professor pointed out that in 2020 he obtained a diploma as a permanent member of the Ukrainian Transport Academy, expressing his trust that Syria’s name will remain high in all scientific forums because it prepares its children for higher educational attainment. He added, “It’s not strange for Syrians to hold important positions, as they   have a high – level culture and science. There is no place in expatriation where the Syrians have not left a civilizational mark.

Dr. Al-Amouri who was born in Homs, 1966, is now the Head of the Department of Information Analysis and Security at the Academy of Youth and has obtained the degree of Professor from the National Transport University. He founded a scientific journal, authored several scientific papers, and added his name to the list of creators in Ukrainian national science.
