The UAE President discusses with the Iranian Foreign Minister bilateral relations

The President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, discussed with Iranian Foreign Minister Hussein Amir-Abdollahian in Abu Dhabi today the bilateral relations between the two countries, and ways to support cooperation and joint action in order to achieve their common interests.

The Emirates News Agency stated that the two sides exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues and developments of common concern, and stressed the importance of building on the positive developments that have been achieved in the region, for the benefit of its people and the promotion of stability and prosperity in its countries.

Earlier today, Abdollahian held talks in Kuwait with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, which dealt with bilateral relations and views on some regional issues. The two sides also agreed to set priorities for cooperation and activate specialized committees in the two countries.
