The UAE and Oman strongly condemn the terrorist attack that targeted the Military College in Homs

Abu Dhabi (ST): The United Arab Emirates strongly condemned the terrorist attack that targeted the Military College in the city of Homs.

The Emirates News Agency (WAM) quoted the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs as saying in a statement today: “The UAE expresses its strong denunciation of these criminal acts and its permanent rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism that aim to destabilize security and stability and are inconsistent with humanitarian values and principles.”

The Ministry expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to the government of the Syrian Arab Republic, its brotherly people, and to the families and relatives of the victims as a result of this heinous crime, and its wishes for a speedy recovery for all those injured.

In Muscat, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman condemned the terrorist attack that targeted the graduation ceremony of military college officer students in Homs.

The Ministry said in a statement published on its website: “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses its sincere condolences and sincere sympathy to the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic and to the families of the victims in the attack that targeted the graduation ceremony of the students of the Military College in the city of Homs, and its wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured.”

The Ministry affirmed the Sultanate of Oman’s firm position in condemning violence and terrorism in all its forms.
