In a tweet on the “X” platform, the US embassy in Syria said: “Syrian immigrants have contributed to enriching the cultural diversity of the United States, enhancing its strength and contributing to its prosperity. In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, many of them settled in “Little Syria”, a vibrant neighborhood in New York City, which includes important institutions such as St. George’s Syrian Catholic Church.
