Ankara (ST): The authorities of the Turkish regime arrested 18 people under the pretext of their association with the preacher Fethullah Gulen, whom this regime accuses of being behind 2016 coup attempt in Turkey.
Anadolu Agency, the mouthpiece of the Turkish regime, quoted security sources as saying: “The Public Prosecution Office in the capital, Ankara, issued arrest warrants against 28 people and arrested 18 people during campaigns launched in Istanbul across 10 provinces.”
It is noteworthy that the regime of Recep Tayyip Erdogan has launched severe repression campaigns since the coup attempt in order to pursue its opponents inside the country, where it arrested and dismissed tens of thousands of people, both civilians and military.
