The Turkish occupation cuts water supply to the city of Hasakah for the 46th day

The Turkish occupier and its mercenaries from the terrorist groups continued their violations and attacks on the Allouk water station and the electricity networks feeding it, and their control over pumping water from it to the city of Hasakah , amid a continuous aggravation of the suffering of the people in securing water for the 46th consecutive day.

The Director General of Al-Hasakah Water Company, Engineer Mahmoud Al-Okla, said that the water supply to the main station in the Al-Hama area, west of Al-Hasakah, continued to be weak, due to the escalation by terrorist organizations affiliated with the Turkish occupation in their areas of deployment.

He added that the station’s supply decreased to 10,000 only cubic meters per day out of 60 thousand, which is the amount that is usually pumped from the station on a daily basis.

He said that the only solution to the water problem in al-Hasakah is to return the Alloukstation to the supervision of the Water Company to ensure the stability of the pumping

In addition, government measures continue to alleviate the suffering of the people as the Water Company, in cooperation with international organizations and NGOs, is transferring drinking water to the city center and filling the tanks scattered in the streets, in addition to operating 14 desalination plants inside thedowntown of Hasakah
