The torch march of the Syrian Special Olympics launched at the crossing of the liberated city of Quneitra

The torch march of the Syrian Special Olympics was launched today at the crossing of the liberated city of Quneitra, as part of the activities of the sixth local edition of the Syrian Special Olympics, with the participation of a number of players from all governorates.

A number of athletes, participating in lighting the flame, spoke about the symbolism of starting the tournament from this spot, which has a special impact in the hearts of the Syrians, stressing that their participation is a token of love and loyalty to the steadfast Syrian people in the villages of the occupied Syrian Golan, and a message of defiance to the Zionist enemy to indicate that the Syrian people adhere to their right to liberate all of the Syrian soil.

The ceremony of launching the torch march, which will be transferred to the city of Deir Attia in the countryside of Damascus, has was attended by official, sports and civil personalities from Quneitra Governorate.
