The ‘To the end of life’ film continues filming, Minister Sara: The Syrian media that stood by the army deserves to be immortalized through a cinematic work

Director Basil Al-Khatib, along with a number of Syrian drama stars, continue to film the events of the feature film of ‘To the end of life’ which tells the story of terrorists who kidnapped a Syrian journalist while she covering the operations of the Syrian Arab Army in the face of terrorism.

The Organization for Arab Radio and TV is producing the film which is written by writer Samer Muhammad Ismail.

 “The film tells the story of a war reporter whose name is Lara. She is kidnapped by a terrorist group while  covering the military operations. The Syrian Arab Army liberates Lara and returns her to her family,” writer Samer Muhammad Ismail said to Syria Times.

“The film sheds light on  the Syrian war correspondents’ suffering  during their covering the war against Syria,” Ismail added.

The film shows the effective role of  Syrian journalist in reporting the events of the battles against terrorism.

The Minister of Information Imad Sara visited the filming site and met with the film crew and camera team.

Minister Sara was briefed on the stages of the film’s completion and stated: “The Syrian journalist were embedded with the Syrian Arab Army step by step they deserve to have a film made for them .”

Minister Sara said that there are preparations for the makings of a series of drama productions  that reflect and glorify the heroes of the Syrian Arab Army.

The director of the film, Basil Al-Khatib, said: “The film  is inspired by real events that took place during the years of the war on Syria.”

As for the artist, Aref al-Tawil, he said: “The film sheds light on a realistic story of a female journalist who is kidnapped to reflect the role of the Syrian media alongside our army men and the compatibility of these two roles with each other.”

It is noteworthy that a number of Syrian drama stars, including Wael Ramadan Aref Al Taweel, Rana Shamis, are acting in the film.
