RT website quoted Zloshevsky as saying, “This pumping and informative hysteria about the impending famine is actually just playing to drive up prices and from my point of view, and this isn’t the best game and It is going to end pretty badly “. He pointed out that the game of raising prices poses real threats to food security.
Zloshevsky added “there is not and cannot be physical supply, food availability, fear of possible resource shortages’ threats”.
He noted, “If there were no hysteria today, the price for the wheat would not be more than 300 kopecks per ton, according to my estimates, against today’s 450 dollars”.
