The temporary truce in Gaza reveals more of the occupation’s crimes

On the fifth day of the temporary truce agreement in the besieged Gaza Strip ,and after 48 days of the genocidal war waged by the Israeli occupation against 2.4 million Palestinians there the massive scale of destruction caused by the brutal Israeli war is revealed, where extreme destruction affected all aspects of life without exception, at all levels.

More than 15,000 martyrs were victims of the aggression, including more than 6,150 children and 4,000 women.

207 martyrs were from the medical crew, 26 civil defense crew and 70 journalists.

7000 people are missing , including more than 4,700 children and women, either under the rubble or their fate is still unknown

More than 36 thousand wounded, 75 percent of whom are children and women.

More than 1,400 massacres have been committed by the occupation since the start of its aggression on the 7th of last month.

1,6 million Palestinians were displaced by the occupation from their homes, hundreds of thousands of them became homeless, which requires the international community to find quick solutions to shelter them.

About 800,000 Palestinians in Gaza and its north suffer from a severe shortage of water, food, medicine, and basic life necessities.

26  hospitals and 55 health centers are out of service , while 56 ambulances were destroyed.

50 thousand housing units were completely destroyed by the occupation, while 240 thousand were partially destroyed.

60 percent of the housing units in the Strip were affected and have  become uninhabitable.

67  schools were destroyed by the occupation, 199 others were damaged, in addition to 103 headquarters and service institutions were destroyed.

70  percent of the electricity transmission and distribution networks were destroyed as a result of the aggression, while drinking water and sewage plants were stopped.

262  mosques were damaged as a result of the aggression, including 88 completely destroyed, in addition to 3 churches being damaged.

45  thousand agricultural areas were destroyed by the occupation, representing 25 percent of the agricultural areas in the Gaza Strip.

Thousands of fruit trees were destroyed, entire groups of livestock, poultry, and fish farms all were also destroyed.

The Palestinians appeal to the international community to urgently restore the hospitals destroyed by the occupation in the Gaza Strip, also to supply the remaining 9 hospitals in service with fuel and medical supplies.

Demanding the entrance of the necessary equipment and machinery for civil defense crews to recover the bodies of hundreds of martyrs that are still under the rubble.

Warnings of a new disaster as a result of the occupation preventing the delivery of fuel, especially to Gaza and its north, especially in the light of its destruction of sewage stations and wells, which threatens to flood thousands of homes with the arrival of winter.
