The Syrians’ DNA

The Time published on March 26th, 2014 an article entitled ”Syria’s Assad Prepares for Sham Elections despite Endless War”. To start from the title, it seems obvious that President Bashar Al-Assad personally has given no Damn to the coming elections; His Excellency has been remarkably and steadfastly defending his citizens in the face of the wahabi al-Qaeda cannibals of more than 85 countries worldwide.

”Assad won the last election in 2007 with 98 percent of the vote, in a process that can hardly be called ”free or fair”. If he runs again in the upcoming election, it would dim the prospects of U.N.-backed peace talks to end the country’s bloody civil war.” What a flagrant twisting of the reality and contradiction, Assad won so because the voters wanted so in the referendum of 2007; and many- proudly I am one of them- marked with their blood the ”yes” as long as H.E. was the only candidate and the majority’s only hope for a better future.

”In 2007, Assad won the referendum with 97.6  percent of the vote. With his second term drawing to a close on July 17, a new election is likely to be called in the coming weeks, though this time around it won’t be a simple yes or no vote. Electoral reforms, voted in by parliament two years ago, now allow multiple candidates to run for president for the first since Assad’s father took power 44 years ago. Few believe that it will make any difference at all. “I’ve seen how voting works in Syria,” Siraj tells TIME, asking to go by one name to protect family still in Damascus. “Assad will win no matter how many names are on the ballot.”  Added the Time! Yes, ”Assad will win no matter how many names are on the ballot” it is out of question given the massive and large-scale support by the Syrians to their President, Bashar Al-Assad. The Syrians are indeed honored to have Al-Assad as their President, leader, savior, brother, dignity and honor. In the severest and most brutal moments of history and conspiracy against Syria and Syrians, this very President braved every challenges and risks and threw his hat in the ring defending all of his citizens in the most remote corner of the world. Yes, President Bashar Al-Assad enjoys now more support of his people compared to 2007 referendum, not to mention the increasing numbers of supporters worldwide.

“I very much doubt that a presidential election and another seven-year term for President Bashar Assad will put an end to the unbearable suffering of the Syrian people, stop the destruction of the country and re-establish harmony and mutual confidence in the region,” U.N. peace mediator Lakhdar Brahimi told the U.N. General Assembly on March 14, according to the Time! Yes, the speaker, Brahimi, is part of the crisis and is paid for by the dirty petrodollars according to different sources. Neither Ibrahimi nor Geneva has anything to do with the Syrian Presidency. It is well-known that anti-Syria forces have left no stone unturned as to get rid of President Bashar Al-Assad, who is the President of Syrians and only the Syrians and neither of the Saudis, Qataris, French, or the US citizens- I believe the majority of these people pray to God as to have Al-Assad as their own president-! So the Presidency of the Syrians is none of foreigners’ business; the Syrians have their most adored strongest man as their defender, custodian and savior. Bashar Al-Assad is our DNA and none worldwide have anything to do with our private sacredness.

”Assad has yet to formally announce his candidacy, coyly stating in various media appearances that it is up to the Syrian people to nominate him. But in government-controlled areas, election preparations are in full swing….” Done already by the millions of Syrians, who only want to cast their votes for President Al-Assad. The majority has nothing to be ashamed of. Oh! God! What is wrong with this new-world order of no order! The majority do love their President Al-Assad. The ballot boxes would definitely decide and reflect the thundering voices of loyalty and feelings of allegiance to the Homeland, Syria, represent gloriously by President Al-Assad.

”Even if a serious contender were to emerge, stringent requirements make it all but impossible to enter the race. Candidates must win the support of 35 members of the pro-Assad Parliament, and they must have lived in Syria for the past 10 years, a stipulation that automatically knocks out even officially tolerated opposition members, all of whom have spent time in exile at one point or another over the past decade. Both parents must also be Syrian, and foreign spouses are not permitted. “ The Time quoted the new general elections law as stipulating. Yes, this is a modern law in lines with what the Constitutions says and the MPs deliberate and vote for. It is the Syrian Arab Republic and not any satellite banana state. Syria is the fertile land of mono-theism, culture, alphabet, agriculture, art, fertility, politics and of Al-Assad family, the driving force behind its modern history resurrection.
