The Syrian women’s national under-16 basketball team beat its Indonesian counterpart

 

Amman (ST): Syria’s national under-16 women’s basketball team defeated its Indonesian counterpart, with a score of 75-74, in the second-level Asian Cup, currently being held in the Jordanian capital, Amman.

The head of the Basketball Association, Tarif Qutrash, explained in a statement that the women’s team performed an impressive performance and will have an important future and a nucleus for the women’s team, pointing out that the Basketball Union strives and works with all its energy to return the Syrian basketball to the Arab and international podiums.

Our team opened the tournament by defeating Samoa with a score of 75-63 points and lost in its second match against the Philippines team, with a score of 86-93.
