The Syrian Union of Journalists condemns the Israeli campaign against the Chairman of the Palestinian Journalists Union

On July 11, the Syrian Union  of Journalists strongly condemned the systematic and programmed campaign launched by the Israeli media against the Chairman  of the Palestinian Journalists Union , the Vice President of the Arab Journalists Union and a member of the Executive Committee of the International Federation of Journalists, Nasser Abu Bakr, for his national positions.

“The Israeli  media used to target national figures to discredit and undermine them, but it will not succeed in this,:” the Union  said in a statement.

The Union affirmed its standing and solidarity with colleague Nasser Abu Bakr and with the Palestinian Journalists Union  in the face of these targeted campaigns.
