The Syrian team for physical strength participates in the Asian Universities Championship

Abu Dhabi (ST): The Syrian team for physical strength will participate in the Asian Championship for Universities, which will start  tomorrow at the University of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates.

The team includes Hassan Ahmed Khalil, Ahmed Fouad Shahat, Youssef Youssef, Fahd Al-Haj Zain, and the coach Ahmed Abdullah.

46 universities in Asia, representing 11 countries, will participate in the championship, with 57 male and 27 female players competing.

The head of the Physical Strength Union Bilal Bahsas indicated in a statement that the preparations of our players for the championship started after the conclusion of the Arab Cup championship that was held in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, last month, through intensive training sessions, and we count on them to achieve good results to add a new achievement to this sport, like the distinguished results that were achieved in the last Arab Cup Championship in which teh Syrian team managed to win 156 medals.
