Syria wins a new bronze medal in the Arab Swimming Championship

Abu Dhabi, (ST) – The Syrian national team continues to shine in the Arab Swimming Championship held in the Emirati capital, Abu Dhabi, as Syria has added a bronze medal to its tally.

In the details, the Syrian swimmer Laith Laqmoush won the bronze medal in the 200-meter race, setting a new Syrian record with a time of 2:09.89 minutes.

So far, our team has achieved two gold medals in the 400-meter medley and 800-meter freestyle, silver in the 50-meter butterfly through Ayman Kalzia, silver in the 400-meter medley through Osama Trabelsi, and two bronze in the 50-meter breaststroke and 100-meter breaststroke by Lynn Ayyash.
