The Syrian Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai wins the Gold Award for Theme Development Category

On March 31st, the Syrian pavilion at the Expo Dubai won the Gold Award for Theme Development Category by embodying the best content in the Expo for rented pavilions.

The International Committee on Exhibitions of the Organization of UNESCO decided unanimously to award the Syrian pavilion the golden award for the pavilion’s ability to implement the concept of development, one of the basic concepts set by the Expo administration as a basis for organizing the global event.

The award was received by the pavilion’s General Commissioner, Chargé d’Affairs of the Syrian Embassy in the United Arab Emirates, Dr. Ghassan Abbas.

 

Dr. Ghassan Abbas stated that obtaining this  golden award is a tribute to the ancient Syrian Arab culture and civilization and to the Syrian people who carried this ancient heritage with their conscience and conscience.

Dr. Ghassan Abbas thanked the entire Syrian pavilion staff, the Syrian Trust for Development, the administration of Expo 2020 Dubai and the United Arab Emirates, which supported the Syrian participation.
