The Syrian Olympic football team prepares to participate in the Asian Cup qualifiers

Damascus (ST) – The Syrian Olympic football team is preparing to participate in the Asian Cup qualifiers for the U-23 Asian Cup, which will be held in Jordan from the 4th to the 12th of next month.

The team’s current preparations include an external training camp in Saudi Arabia that kicked off today and will last until the 3rd of next month. This camp comes after an internal training camp that was recently held in Damascus.  

It is noteworthy that the Syrian team won the silver medal in the Arab Sports Games in Algeria, which was held recently, after losing in the final against the Saudi team on penalties 5-4.
