The Syrian national team is third in the International Peace Tournament of Judo

Baghdad (ST): The Syrian judo team achieved third place and a bronze medal in the teams’ competition in the International Peace Championship, which concluded today in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.

 

In the tournament, in addition to the bronze teams, our team won four bronzes in individual competitions through players Suleiman Al-Rifai, Moamen Mahfoud, Muhammad Qassem and Muhammad Ghassan Haiba.

The first place in the teams’ championship went to the Iranian team, followed by the Iraqi team, and our team came third, while the Jordanian team came fourth, then Tunisia and Morocco.
