The so-called ‘Syrian foreign opposition’ continues its steps of cooperation towards the Israeli occupation entity, which started with the beginning of the terrorist war on Syria.
Israeli channel 12 said in a report that Fahd al-Masry, the leader of the Syrian Salvation Front, an opposition group, sent a request to the Israeli government proposing to establish cooperation with Israel.
The channel stated that he promised in his message that “Syria will not support in the futurefight against Israel,”.
In 2017, this group presented a map for cooperation with Israel including recognition of “Israel” and finding a settlement to the occupied Syrian Golan issue and moving the relationship between Syria and “Israel” from the stage of hostility to the stage of cooperation.
Press reports said that the so-called ‘Salvation Front’ announced in a statement on November 21 that it had appointed an official representative to Israel.
The reports said that the ‘Salvation Front’ aims to open channels of communication with the Israeli government, the Knesset and the parties to build what it called “ peace and cooperation between new Syria and Israel”
In December 2016, Al-Masry himself sent a recorded message in sound and image to the Israeli occupation entity calling to ‘support the Syrian people.’
Al-Masry called on the Turkish regimes and the Gulf monarchies to wage a military aggression against Syria and the formation of what he named a regional security council led by Israel.’
Many members of the opposition, most notably al-Masry, Kamal al-Labwani, IssamZaitoun and otherscalled on Israel to support the Syrian armed opposition.
In 2017, Syrian opposition figure, Nabel al-Dandal, made an interview with the Israeli YediothAhrnoth Daily and urged Israel for more cooperation with ‘the Syrian armed opposition’.
Since the beginning of the terrorist war on Syria, Israel provided direct and indirect support to terrorists in southern Syria and transported hundreds of their wounded for treatment in its field hospitals that it set up specifically for them inside the occupied Syrian Golan and the occupied Palestinian territories.
