Damascus,(ST)- The Syrian feature film “Temporary Darkness” won the Best Film Award at Hague Film Festival, which kicked off on the 21st of this month in the Netherlands.
The film is produced by the General Organization for Cinema, written and directed by Firas Mohammad, and stars Aya Mahmoud, Alaa Zahreddine, Zuhair Abdul Karim, Amana Wali, Dalaa Nader, Mohammad Zarzour, Ali Al-Qassem, Rana Jamoul, Cassandra Diab, and Amir Brazi.
The film is about the story of a young man who works in a butcher shop, and a dancer in a nightclub, whose fates intersect in one of the random neighborhoods of Damascus, when they meet and are forced to reconsider the reality they live in.
