The Syrian Embassy in Lebanon gives financial aid to Syrian refugees affected by the burning of Bhanin camp
BEIRUT, (ST)_The Syrian Embassy in Lebanon has given financial aid to the Syrian refugees, who have been affected by the burning of Bhanin camp in Minya district few days ago.
In a speech he delivered on Thursday at the National Center in the North, Consul Adnan Trabelsi stressed that the doors of the embassy are open to those affected by the burning of the camp and they are welcome at any time.
He stressed that the Syrian refugees’ case is being followed up with all concerned parties, especially the Lebanese General Security, praising the efforts made by the head of the National Center in the North, Kamal Al-Khair, to strengthen the relations between the Lebanese and Syrian peoples.
The Consul made it clear that the finacial aid provided by the embassy is a part of the aid that will be provided in the coming days.”
For his part, Al-Khair welcomed the Syrian delegation in Minya, stressing “the strength of the relations between the two brotherly peoples, the Syrian and the Lebanese people.”
The head of the Syrian Workers ‘Association in Lebanon, Mustafa Mansour thanked the people of Minya for their good treatment of the Syrians for many years.
On December 26, 2020, a number of people set fire to a camp for Syrian refugees in the town of Minya, leading to the displacement of hundreds of camp residents and to massive material damage.
