The Syrian Army team ranks first in the tank biathlon race within the International Military Games in Russia

On August 20th, the Syrian Arab Army team continued to consolidate its successes in the tank biathlon race within the framework of the International Military Games (Army 2022), hosted by the Alabinan Military Field in Moscow, and for the second time ranked first in its group in front of a large crowd of fans.

The performance of the Syrian team was greatly welcomed by the Russian public and the Syrian students, who came to watch the heroes of their army display their military expertise after they fought battles of honor against armed terrorist organizations for several years.

Major General Maan al-Dahma, head of the Syrian team for the International Military Games, said: “For the second time, we get first place in the second group in the tank biathlon, and we were able to achieve a good arrangement and in record time in the competition with the teams of Armenia, Laos and Myanmar. First place in the general results for the entire group, that is, the eight teams.”

Brigadier General Saad Salameh, deputy head of the Syrian team for the International Military Games, said, “Our evaluation of the performance of our team today was very good.”

He expressed his wishes that the general outcome of the results will be good after the team members exerted all their energy and experience.

In turn, the military attache at the Syrian embassy in Moscow, Brigadier Adnan Ibrahim, expressed his pride in the Syrian team winning first place in today’s round of the tank biathlon race.

 Among the Syrian team’s fans, the two students, Bassam Jadeed and Laila Darwish, expressed their happiness with the Syrian team’s victory, noting that it had proven very efficient and proved to be a well-trained army whose performance was characterized by speed and accuracy.
