The Syrian army reinforces its positions in two cities in Raqqa and Aleppo

ALEPPO/ RAQQA, Jul.18, (ST)- The Syria army deployed its units in several areas in the northern countryside of Aleppo and Raqqa, close to the border, with the aim of confronting the attacks carried out by the Turkish occupation forces and their terrorist mercenaries.

The Syrian Arab News (SANA) reported on Monday that the units of the Syria Army have reinforced their positions in the cities of Ayn Issa and Ayn Arab in the countryside of Raqqa and Aleppo.

It pointed out that this measure comes within the context of the steps taken by the state to establish security and stability in all Syrian territories.

The reinforcements of the Syrian army come in the light of the escalation of the attacks of the Turkish occupation and its terrorist mercenaries on safe areas, villages and towns where damages were caused to citizens’ homes, properties and infrastructure and many citizens were martyred and injured and hundreds of them were displaced.
