The Syrian Army recaptures Urom Kobra, Kafrnaha villages in the southwestern countryside of Aleppo

ALEPPO, (ST)- The Syrian Arab Army on Saturday re-established full control over Urom Kobra and Kafrnah villages as well as Jam’yet Rudwan area in the southwestern countryside of Aleppo following fierce battles with Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and its affiliated takfiri groups.

According to SANA reporter, the army opened its artilley and rocket fire against Turkish-backed terrorists in the southwestern countryside of Aleppo on the axis of Urom Kobra and Kafrnaha. The army units engaged in fierce clashes that ended up with defeating the terrorists and liberating the two villages and Jam’yet al-Rudwan.

The army is currently  intensifying its rocket fire against the terrorists’ fortifications in the western and southwestern countryside of Aleppo to liberate more areas.

Syrian Army engineering units start dismantling mines, explosive devices planted by terrorists along Aleppo-Damascus highway

Also in Aleppo, the Syrian Arab Army’s engineering units began on Saturday to dismantle the mines and explosive devices planted by the terrorists along the Aleppo-Damascus international highway, which was completely secured by the Syrian army on Friday after liberating all the areas in its vicinity from foreign-backed terrorists.

Technical workshops in Aleppo governorate started today to remove the barriers, barricades and the debris on the international Aleppo-Damascus highway at Aleppo’s western gate in order to start rehabilitation works in preparation for resuming the economic movement along this road.
