The Syrian army brings in additional reinforcements to Daraa

Over the past few hours, the Syrian army has brought in additional military reinforcements to its sites in Daraa province with the aim of expelling the terrorists, who refuse to hand over the weapons they possess in Daraa Al-Balad and and Tariq al-Sad areas.

This step comes because of the terrorist groups’ insistence on foiling the peaceful settlement efforts that started one month ago to restore stability and security to Daraa Al-Balad district and others areas in Daraa province.

The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) quoted a field source in Daraa as saying: “The terrorist groups, who are spread in Daraa al-Balad district deliberately hinder the settlement and reinforce their positions taking advantage from the period of settlement efforts to be ready for launching attacks on the Army points in parallel with restoring their weapons hidden underground which were supposed to be previously  handed over to the Army.”

The agencies clarified that the terrorists’ refusal of the settlement come as a result of the statements issued by some Western states supporting terrorists and the Israeli repeated aggressions on Syria that attempt to boost the morale of the terrorists.
