The Syrian army affirms its readiness to confront any possible aggression by the Turkish regime

Damascus (ST): The General Command of the Army and Armed Forces affirmed that the Syrian Arab Army is fully prepared to confront any possible aggression by the Turkish regime on the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic.

A military source said  that “with the intensification of the provocations practiced by the Turkish regime on the Syrian territories during the past two days and the attacks on different areas and a number of our armed forces’ sites, we affirm that our valiant army is ready to confront any possible aggression by this regime and its terrorist organizations.”

The Turkish occupation forces and its mercenaries from terrorist organizations escalated their attacks with heavy artillery and rocket-propelled grenades throughout the areas adjacent to the areas they occupy in the countryside of the governorates of Hasaka, Aleppo and Raqqa, which led to casualties among citizens and material damage to the people’s property and infrastructure in those areas, in addition to the displacement of hundreds of families.
