The Syrian Arab army is deployed on the Syrian-Turkish border 90 km from the eastern countryside of Ras al-Ayn to the east of Qamishli

The Syrian Arab Army units continued their deployment on the Syrian-Turkish border in the northern countryside of al-Hassaka from the eastern countryside of Ras al-Ayn to the east of al-Qamishli.  The Syrian Arab Army also established their points on an axis extending about 90 km. The other units are continuing deployment in other areas in the framework of its national tasks to confront the Turkish aggression and its mercenaries and protect the locals.

SANA correspondent in al-Hassaka said that the army units that started the deployment from Tal Tamr in the northwestern countryside of Hassaka continued their movement and entered many villages and towns.

The army units entered yesterday evening villages and towns of Tal Afar and Khorab Kurd in the western countryside of Qamishli on the border between Syria and Turkey, just hours after the deployment of other units in the city of Darbasiyah in the northeastern countryside of Hassaka and in several villages and towns in the eastern countryside of Ras Al Ayn.

SANA correspondent said that the army units are resuming their deployment on the Syrian-Turkish border eastward to complete their deployment on the rest of the border with Turkey.

SDF groups began yesterday to withdraw from the border between Syria and Turkey in implementation of the Sochi Agreement.

An official source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates welcomed the withdrawal of armed groups in the north of Syria to a depth of 30 kilometers, in direct coordination with the Syrian Arab Army, thus withdrawing the basic pretext for the brutal Turkish aggression on the Syrian territory.
