The Syria Trust for Development provides children with all kinds of support and reaches more than 85,000 children this year
This year, the Syria Trust for Development was able, through its targeted programs and community beacons spread across the governorates, to grant more than 85,000 children opportunities and friendly spaces that help their growth and the formation of their creative personalities.
In a report published on its official Facebook page, the Syria Trust indicated that it subjected the aforementioned children to many courses, such as computer courses, recreational activities, and others to raise awareness about their rights and taught them many skills, such as life skills, in addition to securing a safe space to express themselves and their problems. The Trust tried to guide the children to confront and solve the problems facing them in cooperation with their families through case study services in cooperation with specialists.
The Trust pointed out that during the past three years, it provided lessons for more than 20,000 children, especially for those who missed the educational opportunities because of the war, such as drop-out students, class “B” students, and free-study students, so that no child is deprived of the right to education or left without an opportunity to build skills.
During the year 2022, the Syria Trust for Development launched the first phase of the Masar Friends project for children from 8 to 11 years old to teach them self-awareness and the competencies necessary to succeed in school and life, while the social emotional learning program outside school hours targeted children from 5 to 15 years old.
