The Syrian specialized exhibition series launched with the participation of about 150 local, Arab and foreign companies

Damascus (ST): The activities of the Syrian specialized exhibition series, organized by the “Tayara” Foundation for International Exhibitions and Conferences, were launched with the support of the Ministries of Public Works, Housing, Electricity and Industry, on the grounds of the new exhibition city in Damascus.

The series of exhibitions, which lasts for five days, includes about 150 local, Arab and foreign companies, distributed among the Energy, Electricity and Industrial Automation Exhibition, Syria Energy, the Syrian International Industrial Exhibition SYNEX, and the Syrian International Exhibition for Building, Construction and Techno Build Infrastructure.

In a statement to the media, the Minister of Public Works and Housing, Eng. Suhail Abdel Latif, underlined the importance of the exhibition at the present time, which is considered, through the contents of the exhibiting companies, evidence of the strength and steadfastness of Syria.

Minister Abdel Latif referred to the annual development witnessed by the exhibitions, stressing their great role in the reconstruction process with the services and products they provide, as they are the link between the producer and the consumer or outlet, who may be industrial or working in the field of energy or construction.

For his part, the Minister of Electricity, Eng. Ghassan Al-Zamil, explained that the exhibition witnessed a good turn out in the number of national, Arab and foreign companies, which heralds the beginning of economic openness with the return of Arab relations and the start of the reconstruction phase in Syria, pointing to what the Ministry of Electricity is working on in providing the requirements of industrial facilities of electrical energy and exempting Industrial cities from electric rationing around the clock, to revitalize industry in Syria despite the unjust siege on it.

For his part, the Minister of Industry, Dr. Abdul Qadir Joukhadar, underlined the importance of the exhibition in providing many machines and equipment that support the production wheel, such as pharmaceutical manufacturing, paints, packaging, etc. in addition to integrated production lines, most of whose components are manufactured locally, in addition to the remarkable development in production lines and the use of modern technologies and the application of industrial automation, pointing out that the Ministry of Industry has visions of partnership between the public or private sectors, in addition to searching for external investments to develop existing industrial facilities.

The Governor of Damascus, Engineer Muhammad Tariq Kreishati, underlined the importance of launching specialized Syrian exhibitions, including the various sections, as they constitute an opportunity for  citizens and those interested in industrial products, energy and construction supplies, to see the various services provided by companies.
