Moscow (ST): The Syrian Embassy in Moscow on Sunday sent a new shipment of humanitarian aid provided by the Syrian community and donors from the friendly Russian people to those affected by the earthquake that struck Syria on the 6th of last month.
The new batch, which includes 30 tons of humanitarian aid, was sent on board a Russian cargo plane that will arrive today at Latakia International Airport, as part of the efforts made by the committee formed to accept donations for the response to the earthquake disaster.
The embassy is also preparing to ship a second batch, weighing 30 tons, on board another Russian plane, which will take off in the coming days, once the procedures are completed.
