The Syria Trust: The structural safety inspection committees for the damaged buildings continue their work

Damascus (ST): The Syria Trust for Development confirmed that the committees for examining the structural safety of the buildings damaged by the earthquake are continuing to work, and the damages related to homes and buildings are reported daily according to visits and field reports.

The Trust explained in a post on its Facebook page that the committee formed to inspect the damaged buildings consists of specialized engineers and provides preliminary technical advice to indicate the extent of their structural impact by the earthquake, with the aim of helping the people and ensuring their safety, by directing them to return to their homes if they are intact, or leave them if there was a threat to their lives.

The Trust indicated that the engineering committee, accompanied by lawyers from the legal response team in the Trust, is working to record the data of people who have lost any of their official identification papers, which impede their lives, including data for homes and others, to be issued free of charge again.
