The Syria Trust for Development distributed more than 50,000 food parcels to those affected by the earthquake during Ramadan
The Syrian Trust for Development teams in Aleppo, Latakia, Damascus and its countryside, Hama and Tartus governorates distributed more than 50 thousand food baskets equipped with basic food items and supplies to families affected by the earthquake.
In a Facebook post, the Syria Trust noted that field teams are working to ensure that food baskets reach families affected by the earthquake, both within and outside shelter centers, and with their relatives in villages and countryside, which are distributed according to lists including the affected families. While the community beacons continue to distribute food baskets to families most in need, missing breadwinners and in need of support, which are listed in the secretariat’s beacons, as well as beneficiaries of educational, psychological and vocational support courses in community beacons.
