The Sultanate of Oman welcomes the Syrian-Saudi statement

On April 13th, the Sultanate of Oman welcomed the joint Syrian-Saudi statement issued at the conclusion of the visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Faisal Al-Mikdad to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia yesterday.

The Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement: “The Sultanate of Oman supports all efforts exerted to return Syria to its Arab environment, to resume its active role in the Arab world, and to reach a political solution to the crisis that preserves Syria’s territorial integrity, security and stability.”

The Ministry renewed the support of the Syrian state to establish its control over all of its lands, in a way that contributes to achieving security and stability in the region, and achieves goodness and prosperity for the brotherly Syrian people.

In a joint press statement yesterday, Syria and Saudi welcomed starting the procedures for resuming consular services and flights between the two countries, stressing the importance of enhancing security and combating terrorism in all its forms and organizations.
