The Sultan of Oman calls on the international community to assume its responsibilities towards the Palestinian people

Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq called on the international community today to assume its responsibilities regarding what is happening with the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, stressing the right of the Palestinians to establish their independent state with Al-Quds as its capital.

Sultan Haitham said in his speech during the first annual session of the eighth session of the Council of Oman: “We follow with great sorrow the brutal Israeli aggression and unjust siege that the Palestinian people are exposed to, and we affirm our firm principles for establishing the Palestinian state with Al-Quds as its capital.

Sultan Haitham stressed the need for the international community to assume its responsibilities and obligations towards the Palestinian issue and quickly find radical solutions to achieve the hopes of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state.
