The State of Palestine Welcomes The Issuance of Two Arrest Warrants Against Netanyahu and Gallant

The State of Palestine welcomed the International Criminal Court’s issuance of two arrest warrants against Israeli occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former War Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes committed in the Gaza Strip.

According to WAFA News Agency the state of Palestine stressed that the court’s decision restores hope and confidence in international law and its institutions, and in the importance of justice, accountability and the prosecution of war criminals, at a time when the Palestinian people are exposed to genocide and war crimes represented by starvation as a method of war and crimes against humanity, namely murder, persecution, displacement and other inhumane acts.

The state of Palestine called on all member states of the International Criminal Court and the United Nations to implement the court’s decision and extradite the criminals Netanyahu and Gallant to the international judiciary, stressing its continued work with international justice institutions and international courts until all criminals who committed and are committing  crimes against the Palestinian people are held accountable and held to justice.
