The start of the third conference for Syrian researchers in the homeland and abroad

Damascus (ST): The third conference for Syrian researchers in the homeland and expatriate countries will start tomorrow. The conference is organized by the Supreme Commission for Scientific Research for a period of three days, under the title “Towards the Knowledge Economy, the Role of Syrian Researchers in the Homeland and Expatriate Countries” under the auspices of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, at the Al-Assad National Library in Damascus.

 The conference sessions and discussions focus on a number of themes in the fields of technology and information systems, in addition to organizing exhibitions of scientific posters.

The activities of the first day include a number of lectures and discussions in the field of biotechnology, with the participation of Syrian researchers at home and expatriates in Russia, China, the United States of America, Sweden and Belgium, in addition to organizing an exhibition of scientific posters with the participation of researchers from Syria, Egypt and Russia.

The activities of the second day include a number of sessions and discussions in the axis of information technology, smart systems, nanotechnology, technology and knowledge management, with the participation of Syrian researchers at home and expatriates in Britain, Russia, Taiwan, Malaysia, Poland and South Africa, in addition to an exhibition of scientific posters for Syrian researchers at home and expatriates in Russia, South Africa, Taiwan and Malaysia .

The activities of the third day extend to include a number of sessions and discussions in the field of energy and environmental technology, with the participation of Syrian researchers in Syria and expatriates in Portugal, France, Hungary and Austria.
