The Speaker of the People’s Assembly receives a message of condolence for the earthquake victims from the Andean Parliament
On March 18th, Speaker of the People’s Assembly (Parliament)
Schneider and Mason expressed, on behalf of the Parliament’s General Assembly, and on behalf of the peoples of its member countries, their deep regret and sincere condolences to the families of the victims of the earthquake that struck Syria.
In the joint letter, Schneider and Mason affirmed their stand and solidarity with the People’s Assembly and with the Syrian people to confront this catastrophe that afflicted a number of Syrian governorates.
The Andean Parliament includes the parliaments of Ecuador, Bolivia, Chile, Peru and Colombia.
