The Slovak Communist Party has called on the European Union to halt the policy of double standards and impose sanctions on the Turkish regime because of its continuous aggressive policies and its illegal interference in Syria and other countries.
The Slovak Communist Party’s Secretary General Josef Hrdlichka explained that Turkey, as a member of NATO, continues its aggressive policies against sovereign countries such as Syria, Greece, Cyprus and Libya.
Hardlichka said that the Turkish regime interferes in the ongoing conflict in Nagorno Karabakh, and exacerbates tension there and undermines all efforts to resolve the dispute between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Hardlichka said that there is no military solution to the conflict in Nagorno Karabakh and that the solution there is a political one
