The siege on Syria and Yemen will increase their strength, says Yemeni Ambassador

Damascus, (ST) –  The Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen in Damascus Abdullah Ali Sabri stressed the importance of conveying the truth about what is happening in Yemen regarding inhuman crimes against the people amid the silence of the international community.

In a statement to Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), on the sidelines of a human rights symposium held on the crimes of aggression and the humanitarian situation in Yemen at the embassy headquarters in Damascus, the Yemeni ambassador said that, “there are countries, governments and international organizations that trade with the blood of Yemenis, as they did previously in Syria, Palestine and other countries.”

Ambassador Sabri reiterated the depth of the bilateral relations between Yemen and Syria, describing these relations as historical and exceptional. He indicated that the siege imposed on the two countries  will increase the axis of resistance’s will and strength.

The French lawyer, Arnaud Davidi, who participated in the symposium, highlighted the necessity of conveying the truth of what is happening in Yemen to the whole world, because the Western media does not work to convey the facts and images as they are on the ground.
