The Second International Conference on Architectural  Engineering under the title (Towards more sustainable facilities) kicks off

Damascus (ST): With the participation of a number of Arab and international researchers, the activities of the Second International Conference on Architectural Engineering were launched today under the title (Towards More Sustainable Facilities), in the amphitheater of Damascus University.

The themes of the conference, which is organized by the Higher Institute for Seismic Research and Studies at the University of Damascus, and will last for three days, include dialogue sessions that discuss the importance of reinforced concrete structures in terms of design and rehabilitation, seismology and design of facilities to resist earthquakes, engineering management and implementation technology, environmental, health and geotechnical engineering, and techniques for using materials construction and disaster management, and mitigation of its damage.
