The SDF militias kidnapped young men in Raqqa to fight in their ranks

On August 14th, the US-backed SDF militiakidnapped a number of young men in the city of Raqqa to forcibly recruit them to fight in their ranks

Local sources said that armed groups affiliated with the SDF militias launched a massive raiding campaign in the city of Raqqa, set up armed checkpoints and kidnapped a number of young men from their homes and took them to their compulsory recruitment camps to fight in their ranks.

The sources indicated that the militias have intensified their recent raids and kidnappings to compensate for the shortage in their ranks due to the losses it incurred, the cases of escape from their camps and the refusal of the people to deal with them and to send their sons to those camps.

Last Thursday, SDF checkpoints stopped a number of buses and forcibly removed students from them during their return from their examination centers and took them to be involved in fighting within their ranks.
